Drinkers from across Stowmarket flocked to the John Peel Centre for Creative Arts this weekend for the third annual beer festival.

The beer festival, which is a collaboration of music and beer, ran from Thursday evening to Saturday night, and was organised by the John Peel Centre in conjunction with the local Campaign for Real Ale branch.

Event organiser, Steve Woodger, said not much had changed in the three years of the festival, but was pleased that customers were still turning out to try some of the beers and ciders on offer.

While a jukebox from a local collector played a selection of music on the Friday evening, The Phil Jackson Trio, a local rock and roll band, played out the night on Saturday.
