Brookhaven Town Clerk discusses role and warns seniors about scams

On June 25, Brookhaven Town Clerk Kevin LaValle addressed the Avery Village Senior Club at their monthly meeting held at the Henrietta Acampora Recreation Center in Farmingville, New York. During his talk, LaValle outlined the functions of the Town Clerk’s office and how it serves residents of Brookhaven Town. He also highlighted recent service improvements made by his office and engaged with club members on various civic matters.

LaValle warned attendees about senior scams and emphasized vigilance against such threats. He expressed gratitude to the club members for their hospitality, stating, “Thank you to the members of the Avery Village Senior Club for having me. I enjoyed answering questions about the services we provide and the projects I’m working on to enhance those services.”
