Supervisor Daniel J. Panico announced that the Town of Brookhaven’s 2025 Christmas in July Toy Drive has concluded successfully. The event, organized by the Department of General Services’ Youth Bureau Division, aims to support the INTERFACE Holiday Toys for Kids Program ahead of the winter season.
“I want to thank all the generous residents and local businesses whose contributions will help bring joy to children across Brookhaven this holiday season,” said Supervisor Panico. “Last year, the INTERFACE Holiday Toy Drive provided gifts for more than 2,100 families and over 8,300 children.”
The toy drive took place from July 1 through July 25 at twelve drop-off locations throughout Brookhaven. Donations collected during this period will be distributed through the Youth Bureau’s INTERFACE Holiday 2025 Toys for Kids Program.
The INTERFACE Program is a collaboration between the Town of Brookhaven, individual donors, and local businesses. Its goal is to provide goods and services to residents in need while addressing broader social issues. The program also works with community groups and colleges to raise awareness about educational opportunities and encourage volunteerism.
