Lynn Lucas, Th.D., has been recognized for her contributions to ministry and community service. As a co-author of “No Longer A Victim,” Dr. Lucas trains pastors, Christian counselors, and leaders in assisting individuals who have experienced abuse, addiction, rejection, and rebellion. She is a frequent speaker at national conferences and advises churches across four states. Her work earned her a finalist position for Long Island’s Woman of the Year award.
Dr. Lucas co-founded Fountainhead Congregation in East Northport and played a key role in establishing community initiatives like Manna Pantry. In 2024, Manna Pantry distributed over 110 tons of food to more than 4,500 families and 21,600 individuals. The pantry also provided essential school supplies through Mariposa, which supports parents and children with necessities such as food, clothing, and diapers.
During the holiday season, Dr. Lucas organized an initiative that delivered presents to 770 children and teens. Additionally, she created the Summer Enrichment Program offering free camp sessions with tutoring and activities for children from kindergarten to eighth grade.
Her efforts extend to inclusivity through the Deaf Ministry by providing free sign language instruction on Saturdays and promoting deaf fellowship within the church.
Before her tenure in New York, Dr. Lucas served on the Child Abuse Team for the State of Kansas as a Treatment Worker.
Dr. Lucas holds two doctoral degrees from Christian Life School of Theology and Seminary in Ministry and Theology. She also obtained five-year degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Friends University.
Her dedication to faith, education, and service continues to impact many lives positively.
