Councilwoman Bonner welcomes House Boutique’s move to Port Jefferson

Councilwoman Jane Bonner participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony for House Boutique, which recently opened at 301 E Main Street in Port Jefferson. The event was also attended by Port Jefferson Mayor Lauren Sheprow, the boutique’s owners and family members, as well as local attorney and chamber member John Huber.

House Boutique relocated from Mount Sinai to its new site in Port Jefferson, adding to the activity on Main Street and supporting small business growth in the village. Councilwoman Bonner congratulated the owners during the event, stating, “Small businesses are a key part of what makes our downtown areas successful throughout Brookhaven. We are proud to recognize House Boutique as it continues to grow and contribute to the community.”

She also presented a certificate of congratulations from the Town Board to acknowledge the boutique’s achievement and its role in supporting the local economy.

Brookhaven provides municipal services designed for resident needs and community improvements, according to its official website. The town supports various initiatives such as recreational programs and efforts aimed at enhancing quality of life for residents in Suffolk County.
