On March 23, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Pure Barre, a workout studio in Miller Place. Pure Barre offers total body workouts using a ballet barre to perform small, isometric movements. The company operates more than 460 franchise locations across the United States and Canada. This new studio marks the second franchise location within Brookhaven Town. Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined Pure Barre owners Cheryl Zimmer and Katie Houde, along with Councilwoman Bonner, at the event.
