Brookhaven Councilwoman Karen Dunne Kesnig participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Woodland Trail at the Long Island Game Farm in Manorville. The event was held at 489 Chapman Blvd and included elected officials, community members, and staff.

Councilwoman Dunne-Kesnig, a longtime resident of Manorville and supporter of the Game Farm, highlighted the farm’s dedication to wildlife education and conservation. She also spoke about its impact on the local community. During the ceremony, she presented an official proclamation to Melinda Novak, owner and operator of the farm. The proclamation recognized the farm’s decades-long service and its role in promoting environmental awareness among residents and visitors.
