The Plattsburgh State Cardinals, featuring former East Hampton High School standout Hunter Eberhart, were defeated 10-3 by the King’s Monarchs in their NCAA Division III baseball matchup held Wednesday, March 18, at 3:30 p.m.
The game, played at Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex, marked the Cardinals’ first meeting with the Monarchs this season.
Eberhart gave up one earned run across two innings and finished with three walks and one strikeout.
The Cardinals’ upcoming game is set for Friday, March 20, at 3 p.m. at Robert H. Wallace ’53 Field, where they will face the Cortland Red Dragons.
