The Stony Brook Seawolves, featuring former Commack High School standout Evan Kay, were defeated 11-5 by the Sacred Heart Pioneers in an NCAA Division I baseball game held Tuesday, April 7, at 3 p.m.
Veterans Park hosted this game, marking the teams’ first meeting of the season.
Kay pitched 2.1 innings, giving up two earned runs while tallying one walk and one strikeout.
The Seawolves are set to play next on Friday, April 10, at University Field against Hofstra Pride.
