House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Andrew R. Garbarino has announced that senior officials from three key agencies under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will testify before the committee on February 10, 2026. The hearing aims to review the operations and oversight of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Testifying at the hearing will be Todd Lyons, Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Director at ICE; Rodney Scott, Commissioner of CBP; and Joseph Edlow, Director of USCIS.
The session is scheduled for 10:00 AM ET in Room 310 of the Cannon House Office Building. It will be open to both the public and press, with a livestream available on YouTube. Members of the press are required to have congressional credentials and should RSVP in advance.
Chairman Garbarino stated, “Transparency and communication are needed to turn the temperature down. Thank you to Secretary Noem and the Department of Homeland Security for making these witnesses available, and I look forward to receiving their testimony.”
Committee staff initially invited these agency leaders on January 15, 2026, with formal letters sent by Chairman Garbarino on January 24 confirming their participation.
This upcoming hearing follows another recent oversight session where officials from other DHS components—including Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and Science and Technology Directorate—provided testimony.
