Northwell Health has opened a new multispecialty practice at 889 Harrison Avenue in Riverhead, enhancing access to specialized care for the East End community. The facility, which spans 6,400 square feet on the fourth floor, represents a $1.2 million investment and includes 10 exam rooms and four testing rooms. It is designed to support various diagnostic services such as cardiology and vascular testing.

The new location offers coordinated care across six medical specialties: vascular medicine, nephrology, cardiology, thoracic surgery, lung transplant, and hepatology. This provides residents with convenient access to expert physicians and advanced diagnostic services nearby.

“This new multispecialty site brings together top clinical talent and critical diagnostic services under one roof, creating a one-stop destination for patients who require complex, coordinated care,” said Joseph Baglio, SVP of ambulatory operations for Northwell Health’s eastern region. “We are proud to expand access to these essential specialties in Riverhead and help meet the evolving health needs of this growing community.”

A team of ten Northwell physicians will staff the practice to ensure patients receive multidisciplinary and personalized care in a modern environment.

“Our goal is to make it easier for East End residents to get the care they need when and where they need it,” said Amy Loeb, president of Peconic Bay Medical Center. “By expanding services on the east end, we’re not just building a medical office – we’re investing in the health and well-being of this community and the people who call it home.”
