The Plattsburgh State Cardinals, featuring former Rocky Point High School standout Ryan Loughlin, lost 10-3 to the King’s Monarchs in their NCAA Division III baseball contest held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18.
Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex hosted the game, marking the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
Loughlin pitched three innings, giving up three earned runs and allowing one walk.
The Cardinals are set to play their next game Friday, March 20, at 3 p.m., facing the Cortland Red Dragons at Robert H. Wallace ’53 Field.
