The Purchase Panthers, featuring former Kings Park High School standout Tyler Salerno, posted a 17-0 victory over the Yeshiva Maccabees in an NCAA Division III softball contest held Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m.
PC Softball Field hosted the game, marking the teams’ second meeting of the season. The Panthers defeated the Maccabees 14-0 in a prior matchup earlier on Sunday, March 15.
Salerno went 2-for-2, adding one run scored, three RBIs and drawing a walk.
Next up for the Panthers is a game set for Thursday, March 19, at 3:30 p.m., where they will face the Lehman Lightning at PC Softball Field.
