Of the 2,082 people living in Greenport in 2019, 57.3 percent (1,193) were women and 42.7 percent (889) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Suffolk Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 626-to-531. In the 65 and over age range, there were 313 females and 268 males.
