Of the 27,479 people living in Deer Park in 2019, 51.2 percent (14,078) were women and 48.8 percent (13,401) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Suffolk Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 8,733-to-8,556. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,774 females and 1,629 males.
