Of the 706 people living in Peconic in 2020, 46.2 percent (326) were women and 53.8 percent (380) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Suffolk Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 44. In the 65 and over age range, there were 137 females and 148 males.
