Of the 19,438 people living in Huntington in 2020, 51.2 percent (9,950) were women and 48.8 percent (9,488) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Suffolk Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 342. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,433 females and 1,996 males.
