Of the 2,058 people living in Greenport in 2020, 55.2 percent (1,137) were women and 44.8 percent (921) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Suffolk Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 92. In the 65 and over age range, there were 335 females and 267 males.
