Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Officer Raymond Stock was released from Stony Brook University Hospital amid a sea of blue after he and Sixth Precinct Police Officer Brendon Gallagher were seriously injured in a stabbing in Medford on December 28.
Officer Gallagher escorted Officer Stock out of the hospital this afternoon.
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, Police Commissioner Rodney K. Harrison and Stony Brook University Hospital Chief, Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care Dr. James Vosswinkel joined hundreds of officers outside the hospital to support Police Officers Stock and Gallagher as they head home to their families.
We wish both officers a speedy recovery.
