Kayla Sauers, former West Islip Senior High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D3 Softball Championship

Former West Islip Senior High School player and current John Jay Bloodhounds utility player, Kayla Sauers, will compete in the NCAA D3 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the first seeded Christopher Newport Captains.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
