Babylon Dental Care announced the addition of Dr. Jessica Martino, DMD, to its team in August 2024. Martino is a general dentist with a focus on preventive care and patient education.

According to Babylon Dental Care, Martino focuses on promoting oral health through prevention and patient education. She prioritizes understanding individual patient needs and reducing dental anxiety by providing personalized care. She stays updated with advancements in dentistry to ensure quality treatment and builds strong patient relationships to make each visit comfortable.

Martino said, "From the moment I walked into Babylon Dental Care, I felt a strong connection with the team and the environment. My approach to dentistry is to get to know the patient first and then provide the best care. Building these relationships is crucial, and I am excited to bring this philosophy to Babylon Dental Care."

Martino earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree magna cum laude from Boston University and completed a General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital. During her residency, she gained experience in various dental specialties and participated in rotations across multiple medical disciplines including restorative, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures.

Babylon Dental Care, established in 1983, provides a variety of dental and sleep-related services, including general dentistry, cosmetic care, sleep apnea treatment, and emergency care. The practice operates two locations in West Babylon and Patchogue, New York. Founded by Dr. Cliff Brown and Tory Sheehan, the practice has grown by emphasizing patient care and treating patients like family. This philosophy guides the entire team, from dentists to administrative staff, and has contributed to the practice's ongoing growth and success in the community.
