Recently, New York State Senator Dean Murray awarded Frank Trotta with a NYS Commendation Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the community. The award ceremony took place in Patchogue, NY.

Frank Trotta has held numerous positions throughout his career, including serving as a village trustee and becoming the longest-serving Mayor of the Village of Bellport. His commitment to public service is evident through his various roles such as Chairman of the Board of Zoning Appeals for the Town of Brookhaven, Vice Chairman of Suffolk Credit Union, and as a board member for several non-profit organizations. Additionally, he is an active member of both the Bellport Fire Department and the South Country Ambulance Co.
