Brooklyn Barnes was chosen as an alternate for piccolo, and Joseph Cabrera as an alternate for tenor saxophone. Their directors are Garry Helbock and Kimberly Hyland.

From William Floyd Middle School, the selected musicians include Ryan Vasquez Romero, Benjamin Resnik, Bryan Cortez Lima on clarinet, Emanuel Aldana on tuba, and Ryan Formato on percussion. Logyn Bond was named as an alternate for trombone. Their directors are Dawn Conefry, Christine Furlani, and Caroline Feryo.
