Suffolk County Community College announced on April 15 that the Flecker Gallery on its Ammerman Campus will host the 2026 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition from April 23 through May 18.

The event offers students an opportunity to showcase their artwork in a range of mediums, and the college is inviting community members to view these works. A reception and announcement of awards and scholarships are scheduled for May 7 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the gallery, which is located on the second floor of the Southampton Building. The Visual Art Department Cookout will follow this reception.

Gallery hours for viewing are Monday through Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and additional information can be obtained by calling 631-451-4093.

Suffolk County Community College describes itself as the largest and most comprehensive community college in the State University of New York system, enrolling more than 26,000 students in over one hundred degree and certificate programs. The college also reports having approximately 145,000 alumni dedicated to meeting regional workforce needs.

The exhibition provides an opportunity for students to share their creativity with both peers and local residents while highlighting pathways from high school through higher education into careers.
