Suffolk County Community College will host the 2026 Suffolk County High School Art Exhibition from February 11 to February 25 at the Sagtikos Art Gallery on its Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood.
The exhibition will feature artwork by students in grades nine through twelve from various high schools across Suffolk County. Students’ works include painting, photography, collage, drawing, sculpture, digital art, and time-based media.
A closing reception is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., during which awards and honorable mentions will be announced at 6:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and light refreshments will be provided.
Art department chairs and teachers collaborated with students to select pieces for display in the exhibition. Invited schools include Amityville High School, Babylon High School, Bay Shore High School, Bellport High School, Bixhorn Technical Center, Brentwood High School, Cold Spring Harbor High School, Commack High School, Deer Park High School, Farmingdale High School, Half Hollow Hills East and West high schools, Harborfields High School, Hauppauge High School, Huntington High School, Islip High School, John Glenn (Elwood) High School, Kings Park High School, Knox School, Lindenhurst High School, North Babylon High School, Northport High School, Walt Whitman (South Huntington) High School, West Babylon High School, West Islip High School and Wyandanch High School.
The Sagtikos Art Gallery is located in Room 150 of the Sagtikos Arts and Science Building on the Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Admission is free; additional information can be obtained by calling (631) 851-6380.
