The William Floyd High School recently held its annual Coffee House, Living Art Display, and Art Auction event. Organized by the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) and the Literary Magazine club, this event showcased the talents of student artists and musicians.
Attendees participated in a silent auction featuring student-created artwork and enjoyed live performances including music, poetry, and a living art display. Students re-created well-known works of art while guests also enjoyed refreshments and free temporary henna tattoos designed by students.
Erika Licausi and Fine Arts Chairperson Theresa Bianco co-advised the NAHS in organizing the silent auction and living art display. The Literary Magazine club’s live music and poetry performances were arranged by co-advisors Skylar McGarrity and Holly Mascolo.
The event successfully raised $2,500 in scholarship funds for seniors involved in both the NAHS and Literary Magazine club.
