On Thursday, June 26, about 220 members of the William Floyd High School Class of 2025 wore their caps and gowns to revisit their former elementary schools. This event, known as “Walk Down Memory Lane,” offers graduating seniors a chance to see their previous schools and meet with past teachers, teaching assistants, and administrators before commencement.

The senior walk tradition at William Floyd began in 2017. It also aims to inspire younger students as they continue their education. The day is significant for both students and staff.

Graduates visited several elementary schools including William Floyd Elementary School, Tangier Smith Elementary School, John S. Hobart Elementary School, Moriches Elementary School, and Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School.
