Melville home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Melville fell by $22,500 while total sales increased by 15.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 59 homes sold, with a median sale price of $610,000 - a 3.6% decrease over the $632,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 51 homes sold in Melville in the fourth quarter of 2016.
