Melville home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Melville fell by $8,750 while total sales increased by 19.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 127 homes sold, with a median sale price of $685,000 - a 1.3% decrease over the $693,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 106 homes sold in Melville in the second half of 2016.
