Central Islip home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Central Islip rose by $8,800 while total sales increased by 14.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 429 homes sold, with a median sale price of $243,800 - a 3.7% increase over the $235,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 375 homes sold in Central Islip in 2016.
