County, State and Federal Programs are Designed to Help Business Owners Weather the Storm and Sustain Businesses During and After Coronavirus.

Guidance to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act is below, as well as the latest information concerning New York State’s essential and nonessential businesses as well as information from Suffolk County.
Of particular interest in the CARES Act is a provision called the Paycheck Protection Plan Program, under which small businesses that maintain their payroll during the COVID-19 crisis will be able to apply for 100% federally guaranteed loans that may be forgiven if borrowers maintain their payrolls during this emergency or restore their payrolls after the pandemic.
