41 percent of applicants to Five Towns College were admitted for fall 2018

At Five Towns College, 80 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 67 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Dix Hills enrolled 636 students in fall 2018, including 590 in undergraduate and 46 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

89 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 9 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (50 percent) and Black or African American (23 percent).

The school admitted 41 percent of the 707 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 49 percent enrolled.
