Graduates earn 138 degrees from Five Towns College

About 44.9 percent of the 138 degrees and certificates handed out by Five Towns College in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Hills conferred 49 bachelor's degrees and 11 master's degrees in visual and performing arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 50 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 22 bachelor's degrees in general music and 19 bachelor's degrees in film/cinema/video studies.

The college enrolled 636 students for 2017-18, including 590 in undergraduate programs and 46 in graduate programs.
