Of the 42,316 people living in West Babylon in 2020, 50.1 percent (21,183) were women and 49.9 percent (21,133) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Suffolk Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 1,029. In the 65 and over age range, there were 3,985 females and 2,971 males.
