Suffolk County Police recruits were visited this morning by Lisa Tuozzolo who spoke to the class about the life of a law enforcement family.
Tuozzolo’s husband, Paul, was a sergeant in the NYPD when he was shot and killed during a domestic violence call in the Bronx in 2016. Lisa and her two sons were left behind and she has now made it her mission to keep her husband’s memory alive by sharing her experience as a law enforcement wife and now widow.
Thank you to Lisa for sharing her story and inspiring others.
