Commissioner Harrison Reads to Sixth Graders

Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison was a guest reader for students in Mrs. Nicole Cummings' 6th grade class at Morrow Elementary School. Commissioner Harrison read one of his favorite age-appropriate stories, “The Three Questions.” Following the story, students had the opportunity to ask Commissioner Harrison questions. They also took photos with him in from of a mural they created.

Joining the students were Superintendent of Schools Ms. Sharon A. Dungee, School Board Member and Community Ambassador Ms. Debra Cavanagh, Morrow Elementary School Principal Dr. Neema Coker, Assistant Principal Ms. Christine Joesten, School Social Worker Mr. Christopher Carlozzo, Mrs. Cummings and Guest Reader Program Coordinator and Teacher Mrs. Maureen Esposito.
