Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio (R,C-Riverhead) has teamed up with the newly opened Scott’s Pointe Adventure Park to organize a blood drive event aimed at supporting the community. The collaboration between Giglio and Scott’s Pointe comes at a crucial time when blood reserves are in dire need of replenishment.

In a statement, Giglio expressed her gratitude towards Scott’s Pointe for their partnership, stating, "Scott’s Pointe is gracious enough to once again partner with me in service of the community, and I couldn’t be prouder for their help and generosity."

The blood drive event is set to take place on Sunday, February 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Scott’s Pointe located at 5835 Middle Country Rd., Calverton. Individuals who participate in the blood drive will not only be contributing to the local blood banks but will also receive a special incentive. Giglio highlighted this by saying, “Those looking to give back and support our local blood stores won’t be disappointed, as each donor will receive a 20% off coupon to Scott’s Pointe Adventure Park, so we encourage everyone to give generously!”
