New York, Apr 2, 2024 - In a recent statement, Brown expressed his support for efforts to bring home the 134 hostages held in Gaza, emphasizing the plight of the families affected by the ongoing situation. Brown highlighted the specific case of two New Yorkers among the hostages, Omer Neutra and Edan Alexander.

"It is terrible to see the families of the 134 hostages being held in Gaza continue to suffer. The hostages have been held for 179 days now, and of the 134 hostages, two of them are New Yorkers—Omer Neutra and Edan Alexander. Until we see their immediate release and safe return home, I am proud to stand in solidarity alongside my colleagues and fellow New Yorkers to support this humanitarian effort," Brown stated.

Brown also condemned the situation, stating, "There is no moral basis and it is a violation of international law."

Highlighting the importance of unity in addressing the issue, Brown called for collective action, saying, "Together, we can send a very clear and strong message to the terrorist group Hamas: we will not rest until the 134 hostages are freed and returned home to their families. Bring them home now!"

The call to bring the hostages home has gained momentum with Brown's support, as efforts continue to secure the safe release and return of all individuals held in captivity.
