Assemblyman Keith P. Brown (R,C-Northport) expressed his pride and support for the new board of directors and president of the Peruvian Chamber of Commerce Alliance of Long Island. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the Huntington Moose Lodge in Greenlawn, New York, where the honorees were sworn in by Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine.
The Peruvian Chamber of Commerce Alliance of Long Island's new board of directors includes William Santiago, Juan Bustamante, Ruth Urrutia, Claudia Cadenillas, Kevin Segura, Gian Marcos Chafloque, Elizabeth Russo, and Olivia Rosario. The newly elected president is Shermelee Carrasco-Martinez.
Assemblyman Brown congratulated the new leaders, stating, "Congratulations and best of luck to the Peruvian Chamber of Commerce Alliance of Long Island's new board of directors and president." He added, "I am very proud to support this amazing organization and personally congratulate each of the honorees at their swearing-in." Brown also expressed his confidence in the capabilities of the new leaders, highlighting their potential to strengthen the professional relationship between Peru and the U.S. He concluded by saying, "I look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the future."
