On April 18, 2024, Assemblyman Brown highlighted the importance of New York State's Donate Life Program in saving lives through organ and tissue donation. Brown commended the collaboration between the Assembly Minority and Majority Conferences in expanding the program to reach more communities statewide.

Brown emphasized the urgency of the situation by stating, "There are 7,962 patients from New York state currently on the national organ transplant waitlist, and the list is still growing." He urged the public to register for organ and tissue donation to prevent more individuals from facing challenges in finding suitable donors.

To support the cause, Brown encouraged everyone to sign up for the Donate Life Registry program, stating, "I am proud to see this collaboration between the Assembly Minority and Majority Conferences to help raise awareness and expand this program to reach more communities statewide."
