As the new school year approaches, Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio (R,C-Riverhead) is partnering with St. John’s Parish Outreach to host a Back-to-School Drive, aiming to support students in the community. The drive seeks essential school supplies to help ensure every child starts the academic year prepared.

“Education is the foundation for our children’s future, and we want to make sure every student has the tools they need to thrive and succeed,” said Giglio. “This drive is a great opportunity for our community to come together and support our local students because no child should have to worry about not having the supplies they need for school.”

Items needed include notebooks, pencils, pens, markers, binders, folders, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, scissors, rulers, calculators, lunchboxes, water bottles, Post-it Notes, watercolor paint, pencil boxes/pouches, and backpacks.

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

- Riverhead Library - 330 Court St., Riverhead, NY 11901

- Riverhead Toyota - 1655 Old Country Road Riverhead NY 19901

- Riverhead Apple Honda - 1375 County Rd 58., Riverhead, NY 11901

- St. John’s Parish Outreach - 546 St Johns Pl., Riverhead, NY 11901
