Assemblyman Jarett Gandolfo (R,C-Sayville), in partnership with the Italian-American Conference of State Legislators, has announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2023 Italian-American Conference scholarship.

Students statewide are encouraged to submit their applications. Four scholarships will be awarded following review. New York state resident college students or college-bound high school seniors are all eligible. Two of the scholarships will be awarded for academics, and two will be awarded for athletics. Gandolfo expressed his support for students' higher education journeys through this initiative.

“I’m so glad the New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators is able to give back to the community this way, because we have students all across this state who deserve it,” Gandolfo said. “As higher education costs continue to rise, we’re all proud to offer this funding and ensure more students make their way through college without worrying about cost. I look forward to seeing the applications come through, and I want to wish good luck to all who apply.”

The deadline for applications is Monday, March 27, 2023. Students who wish to apply can find the application at the New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators website at https://www.nyiacsl.org/apply-for-scholarship-form.
