The Stony Brook University Division of Enterprise Risk Management is conducting its annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit pediatric patients at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. Donations of new and unwrapped gifts are being accepted until the end of the day on Wednesday, December 11.

Collection boxes have been placed in several locations across the university campus, including the lobbies of the Stony Brook University Administration Building, the Stony Brook Union, the Student Activities Center, the Student Health Center, Suffolk Hall, and the University Police Department.

On Thursday, December 12, a caravan led by first responder vehicles will transport these donations from the Wang Center to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.

A Holiday Gift Wish List has been provided by Stony Brook Children’s to guide donors. "Please keep to the items on the list," a statement notes. "They are items most often wanted by the children and help make sure each child gets the gift they want." The wish list also aids in saving items for future recipients.

For further details regarding donations or participation in this initiative, interested parties can contact Environmental Health and Safety at (631) 632-6410.
