The William Floyd Rockettes, led by Daria Fattizzo and Sydney Bentzig, are set to hold their inaugural Winter Clinic on Saturday, January 11. The event will take place at William Floyd High School starting at 8:30 am and is open to dancers from second through eighth grade. The clinic aims to provide participants with the experience of being a "Rockette for a day" and includes training sessions with members of the varsity Rockettes team. The clinic will conclude with a showcase at 12:30 pm.

Participants are required to pay a registration fee of $50 in cash on the day of the event. They should also bring water, jazz shoes, sneakers, leggings or shorts suitable for dancing, and have their hair tied up.

In other news, the Rockettes recently took part in the annual community Christmas parade organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Mastics & Shirley. Their performance earned them the "Best Performance" award. Kim Swicicki, secretary of the Chamber's Board of Directors, and Frank Montanez Jr., president, presented Ms. Fattizzo, Ms. Bentzig, and members of the Rockettes team with a plaque in recognition of this achievement.
