The William Floyd boys’ varsity wrestling team has claimed victory at the 39th Annual Kujan Brothers’ Memorial Tournament. The team, under the guidance of head coach Tony Mecca, delivered a series of strong performances, securing two overall champions and four second-place finishes. In total, 15 athletes from the team placed in the top six.

Josiah Lors and Antonio Martin emerged as the team's overall champions. Finalists included David Barrera, Brandon Caceres, Caleb Holmes, and Jack Meyer. Their efforts contributed to William Floyd's second tournament title in three years, overcoming highly ranked teams such as Bellport, Smithtown East, and Plainedge.

The Colonials currently hold an 8-2 record and are among Suffolk County's leading teams. With five dual meets left and upcoming league and county championships, they aim to continue their successful run this season.

The Annual Kujan Brothers’ Memorial Wrestling Tournament is a well-established event featuring numerous wrestling programs from Long Island and beyond. It honors former William Floyd wrestlers Kevin and Steve Kujan, who died in a motorcycle accident in 1984. This tournament has been uniting the wrestling community for nearly four decades while commemorating Kevin and Steve's legacy.
