Sound Beach home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Sound Beach fell by $2,000 while total sales decreased by 5.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 91 homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,500 - a 0.8% decrease over the $262,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 96 homes sold in Sound Beach in the second half of 2016.
