Amityville home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Amityville fell by $33,750 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 75 homes sold, with a median sale price of $356,250 - a 8.7% decrease over the $390,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 45 homes sold in Amityville in the second half of 2016.
