South Huntington home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in South Huntington rose by $36,500 while total sales increased by 40.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 87 homes sold, with a median sale price of $414,000 - a 9.7% increase over the $377,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 62 homes sold in South Huntington in the second half of 2016.
