77 percent of applicants to St. Joseph's College-Long Island were admitted for fall 2018

At St. Joseph's College-Long Island, 78 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Patchogue enrolled 4,115 students in fall 2018, including 3,148 in undergraduate and 967 in graduate programs, data shows. 15.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

99 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 1 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (65 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (15 percent).

The school admitted 77 percent of the 1,693 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 36 percent enrolled.
