The Food Lab at Stony Brook Southampton is set to launch a new workshop series, "Boost Your Immunity Naturally," under the guidance of health coach and educator Nadia Ernestus. This initiative, beginning in January 2025, seeks to equip participants with practical knowledge and experience in enhancing immune health through raw foods and natural practices.
According to the program details, “Boost Your Immunity Naturally” will provide comprehensive education on the benefits of raw foods and natural remedies for supporting the immune system. The sessions will combine theoretical insights with practical demonstrations, aiming to help attendees integrate these practices into their daily routines.
Nadia Ernestus is a respected nutritional and lifestyle health coach based in the Hamptons, New York. She is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Ernestus has been influential in her community by introducing nutrition and wellness philosophies through interactive workshops. After successful careers on Wall Street and in real estate, she focused on healthy living, reversing her diabetes diagnosis through diet. She also founded Hamptons Brine, specializing in high-quality fermented foods.
The workshops will occur weekly at the Food Lab on Stony Brook Southampton's campus starting January 2025. They are open to participants of all skill levels.
